Welcome to
Michigan Mercantile!
A collection of independent retail concepts in downtown New Buffalo, Michigan—each with its own point of view.
The portfolio includes Lakeside Goods, focused on imported European tableware, entertaining pieces, and distinctive home objects; Lake Feste, a women’s boutique centered on elevated wardrobe, jewelry, and accessories; Eastern Standard Time, offering graphic-driven apparel and casual essentials; and Book~Shore, newly opened this year, dedicated to books across art, design, and visual culture.
Collections evolve regularly, shaped by season and sourcing rather than a fixed assortment.
Opening before Memorial Day, the pop-up at 108 N Whittaker shifts to the shoreline—this season titled Beach—with striped umbrellas, unique beach bags, tailored coolers, and towels, all with a nod to vintage coastal style.
Beginning May 1, the courtyard farmstand welcomes back Mick Klüg Farms—a multi-generational family farm out of St. Joe, Michigan—returning with fresh, locally grown produce.
And of course, Starbucks offers familiar favorites from 7am–7pm EST, daily.
See you on the north end of Whittaker Street in New Buffalo!
